Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan have arrived in the city of Khankendi as part of a visit to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, accompanied by Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration.

A total of 150 people representing 58 countries and 9 international organizations are taking part in the visit. Representatives of the diplomatic corps inspected the new railway and bus terminal complex in Khankendi.
The diplomats were provided with detailed information about the Aghdam–Khankendi railway as well as the bus terminal complex. During the two-day visit, the diplomats will also travel to Shusha, Aghdara and Kalbajar, in addition to Khankendi. They will observe first-hand the reconstruction and development work being carried out in the liberated territories, as well as new social and economic infrastructure projects.
